James is a lively and outgoing model, based in Sydney, Australia, that loves to share his time between friends, family and accomplishing his endeavors. He will be the first on a dancefloor and the last to leave, at the beach or creating memories with his family and three puppies. James would be best described by his friend’s as a bit of a clown, always making a joke to lighten the mood. James was born with mild Cerebral Palsy, right side hemiplegia, but that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing his ambitions. Awarded full college prefect at school, James has gone on to complete a bachelor of Management, majoring in Events at university. Currently having two jobs, James is a commercial agent by day and works at a retro bowling alley on weekends.
James has always loved his sport and views his disability as a blessing in disguise. He has competed in para athletics & swimming at a national level, becoming national champion in shot put. James has won state championships in both soccer and table tennis. Priding himself on maintaining his health and fitness, James currently competes as a Para rower, which translates to a lot of early mornings on the water and gym sessions.
Having a disability has opened the door to various opportunities that may not have presented themselves otherwise. Most importantly, James cherishes the friendships that have been formed and understands that he has a responsibility to be a role model for those living with a disability that may not think they can achieve what they desire. The only disability in life is a bad attitude.
