Luke is a confident, open minded, strong individual. He has a deep passion for esoteric subjects, including meditation and many spiritual practices. He very much enjoys outdoor life, in nature with his dog Peggy, adventuring in the bush, up mountains and on the beach daily. Luke had a lifetime of chronic pain in his left ankle, which was misformed at birth, causing it to wear out down to no cartilage (osteoarthritis). At the age of 35 Luke made the decision to amputate and start a new life using a prosthetic leg.
Luke grew up in a loving, caring and all round wonderful family in St. Albans, Herts, UK. For his first 18 years he helped in the breeding of cats, dogs, poultry, birds and rescuing many animals including goats, ponies and the animal mentioned above, no name but a few. He has a strong connection to all animals and plants, growing his own food with his family from a young age. Luke also started working at the age of 14, in child care, to then working in retail from the age of 16 through to 21. At the age of 18 - 21 Luke attended Portsmouth University where he successfully attained a degree in Physical Geography Bsc. At the age of 21 Luke broke his left fibula, snapped his ligaments and dislocated his left ankle, while skateboarding. This was his second time learning how to walk again. From the age of 21 - 23 Luke traveled through New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, Bali and Thailand. He has a strong love for all travel and exploring new places.
At the age of 23 Luke moved to Sydney, Australia where he worked at The Carbon Reduction Institute for 5 years, obtaining his Australian residency. Within this company he started as a warehouse assistant, working his way up to company manager and running the business after 5 years. After having enough of the corporate world, Luke left The Carbon Reduction Institute and worked as a project manager Landscaping in Sydney for 2 years. Throughout all this time Luke enjoyed an active outdoor life, thriving in adventures such as watersports (surfing, skim boarding, kayaking, canoeing, free diving, fishing), mountaineering, canyoning, mountain biking, hiking everywhere he could.
In 2020 Luke bought a Caravan and traveled up the East coast of Australia for 3 years, staying and consulting on numerous farms helping them develop and enhance their businesses. In 2023 Luke made the decision to amputate his lower left leg after a lifetime of issues with it. He has spent the past 2 years in recovery learning how walk again for the third time and how to live with a prosthetic leg for the rest of his life.
