Florie was born in France with a congenital malformation on her left hand. She's French, as both of her parents but her father is from the Caribbean.
She works for several years as project manager of political and marketing studies. In 2019 she decided to quit her job, live from her passion and focus on music. She is now singer-songwriter but also a music teacher and a music journalist. She works on her own music project in order to play her songs on stage. She's also practicing modern jazz dance and take music and acting lessons.
One of her goals is to give more visibility to people like her, who are also "different". Whether on stage or when she teaches, she tries to be the woman, artist, racialized, with a disability but stunning that she would have dreamed of seeing when she was a child.
