All the world is a stage for Leo and his passion for fashion. He is devoted to dance and spends hours each day stretching to keep mobile. Having Cerebral Palsy, it is of the utmost importance to keep his muscles supple and strong. Dancing and Pilates are his go-to motivation to keep moving. He trains with Pineapple Dance Studios in London, where he has a scholarship and when not in London, he takes his classes on Zoom direct from Pineapple.
Leo was born profoundly deaf and has chosen to be a regular hearing aid user. He prefers to wear brightly coloured earmolds to match his flamboyant personality. Leo is a verbal communicator, and lip reads.
In April 2023, Leo participated in the local musical theatre production ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’ as part of the ensemble. He thoroughly embraced being part of the cast and revelled in the adulation of being live on stage.
Leo is very enthusiastic about motivating and inspiring people with disabilities. He is an Ambassador for Cerebral Palsy Plus, a Bristol charity working to support children and adults with Cerebral Palsy to live as independently as they wish.
He is an Ambassador for CP UP Movement, changing how people think about cerebral palsy.
Leo is engaged as a Brand Champion for Differently Enabled, showcasing adaptive clothing to empower people with disabilities.
Leo is an Ambassador for Pineapple Dance Studios and Pineapple Fashion, run by Debbie Moore OBE, championing dance accessibility and inclusion for all.
