BIOGRAPHY
Josh Landmann is based in Lancashire. Josh sustained a spinal cord injury in 2014 after driving to a swimming and hitting the bottom. The accident left him with an incomplete SCI, which now leaves him with the ability to stand up and walk in small doses. He mainly uses a wheelchair to get about his daily life. Josh didn't let his disability define his as a person, if anything it made him more outgoing, more driven, and more grateful of life. As a young boy all the way up to having his accident, Josh was a mad sportsman; playing a range of sports such as rugby, hockey, cricket, football, swimming, cycling, water polo, skiing, snowboarding. He went to an International Boarding School called Rossall School from age 7 to age 19, and whilst there was fortunate to meet and create friendships with people from all over the world, for life. His education was leading him into a dream job of being a design within the marine industry, focusing on luxury yacht design or naval marine design. Josh was successful in gaining a place at Coventry University to Study Automotive & Transportation Design which is world renowned for that course. After his accident he didn't pursue that career. Josh found a new life which life priorities changed. Josh is now a full-time para-triathlete, who competes internationally. He is also a qualified personal trainer, who specialises within disability coaching. Josh finds joy in empowering and motivating others. He is often on calls, or in schools and business giving motivational talks. He finds it's important to educate people around disability and how life can change within a split second, and how it's important to stay positive. Josh has a wide variety of hobbies, but his main hobbies is his job. He loves to paint and listen to music. Go on walks with his dog. Too really relax Josh likes to watch movies and to play on his PlayStation.
