BIOGRAPHY
Qais Khan is based in Nottingham. Qais is a Furniture and Product Design graduate who was born profoundly deaf into a hearing family. He first switched on his cochlear implant at the age of three. Throughout Qais' childhood, he and his family learned a lot about how to live with his deafness, but when he turned 16, his whole world was turned upside down.
Qais was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome, and discovered that he had an eye disorder called Retina Pigmentosa which causes night blindness.
