Hello,
its Nikita here with a little story.
I was born on the 6th of September 2012 in Chelsea, London.
My parents found out about my “sunny” diagnosis at birth.
I almost died a few days after I was born.
Thanks to my mother and IntenciveCareUnit at Chelsea and Westminster hospital, who was looking after me 24/7.
It was long 10 days on the edge between life and death.
I can only imagine what my mother felt at that time.
She was caring and loving.
She was fighting for my life, so I decided to stay in this world to show different approach to everything.
We started our learning v teaching journey together.
She was learning about me every day, she still does.
I know I am not an easy as I am very special and an extraordinary child, but full of joy.
I have fantastic family, who cares about me.
I have wonderful little sister, who I love and can’t imagine not to share my toys with her.
I went to mainstream nursery when I was 2 years old.
And I must say, I enjoyed it so much, that I have carried on to a mainstream school.
Now I am in the Year 4.
I love going to the school.
And I feel like a superstar when I walk into the school, as everybody knows me by name.
I greet teachers and kids like a king with a huge smile on my face.
And thanks to my support team, I am progressing every day.
I know, I am slightly more demanding than my sister, but I am still the kid.
I hope that in the future I will be able to be independent human, and do something for society.
Maybe I will be a pianist or an artist, or just an ordinary barista.
I just need a little support from The World, we are all different, but we are all humans.
Please accept me as I accept you; and love me as I love you.
