Scarlett is a Scorpio and Cavernoma Survivor.
Scarlett likes hanging out with friends and family. She enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis and netball.
At the age of 10 her life turned upside down overnight, she was a typical 10-year-old that enjoyed doing all sports, dance and playing with my friends. One day she started to feel her legs going numb, her parents took her straight to hospital where they discovered she had a cavernoma on her spinal cord. Scarlett was operated on straight away and spent the next 13 weeks in hospital. The cavernoma left Scarlett completely paralysed from the midriff down.
Since her injury Scarlett has appeared on BBC1, ITV, Local radio and even met princess Eugenie twice, where she was guest of honour opening a safe space for spinal injury patents at the Royal Orthopaedic hospital to spend time.
