Eilidh Kiddie is a 14 year old girl from Dundee. She is clever, loyal and funny with an opinion on most things! She has a condition called Friedreich’s Ataxia that impacts her mobility, balance and coordination, but not her fierce independence.

Eilidh lives with her mum, dad and two brothers (she’s in the middle). She loves her Minature Schnauzer called Martha and her new Maltipoo puppy called Freddie.

Her interests include socialising with friends, cooking, photography, watching Netflix and going to school.

Eilidh also horse rides and works with a Physiotherapist to help her posture and strength. She has recently started attending a gym too. Eilidh used to play hockey, netball, and play the piano and violin but now finds her condition has made these things difficult.

Eilidh loves trying different foods but her favourite is a classic Margherita pizza.

Holidays often include trips to France, or her home country Scotland. She and her family love outdoor swimming, paddle boarding and cycling. Eilidh uses her electric trike called Pedro so beats the rest of them up the hills!
