Hassan & Hussein were born conjoined in 2009 & shared everything except their hearts. It was a million to one odds they would survive to birth & here they are almost 70 surgeries later & living their best lives! They are now 14 years old. Even though they are identical twins their personalities are different! Hassan has always been affectionately referred to as “the naughty one” & Hussein is “the quieter one”!! Both boys enjoy playing wheelchair basketball for the past 7 years and also have been very successful in Athletics winning many medals and trophies and representing Ireland twice in the UK. They compete in discus, javelin, Shotput & will also start training in track racing in 2024. The boys hobbies include indoor wall climbing despite the fact they have only one leg, gaming, travelling & time with friends. Their big dream is to model for a big designer Ad campaign & to inspire children like them with missing limbs to follow their dreams no matter what obstacles stand in their way. xx
