Quentin's StoryQuentin Is an Ex Identical Twin . Twin bother passed away after two days . Born premature at 30weeks due to Twin To Twin Transfusion.Quentin Suffered two grade 3 bleeds to his brain. Due to these bleeds , Quentin incurred blood clots to the brain which resulted in a build up of fluid on the brain.Quentin was therefore diagnosed with 'Hydrocephalus' .To control the fluid on the brain Quentin had a permanent VP Shunt inserted into his brain.Further to this , Quentin was diagnosed with four limb cerebral palsy and is wheelchair dependant. The right side of his body is affected more than the left. He can do some floor sitting unaided for a short time. Quentin has high muscle dystonia in all four limbs.Quentin's feet present like 'club foot' due to the high tone in his muscles pulling them inwards. to help with this , Quentin wears AFO'S (foot splints). Quentin has vision impairment resulting in the obvious squint in his right eye. Quentin does wear glasses, but he refuses to wear them for long periods of time.
