BIOGRAPHY
Laura has never considered herself ordinary at all. She was born with a rare bone disease and navigated many years with an invisible physical disability and undiagnosed ADHD. Later in life she was diagnosed with a rare type of tumour. After undergoing numerous rounds of chemo and multiple surgeries, in 2021 she opted for amputation and hasn’t looked back since.
Always smiling, Laura found a new sense of adventure after her amputation. she can be now often be found bouldering/rock climbing and is the current bronze medal holder for the British National Paraclimbing Championships in the women’s lower limb amputee category. She is even currently on her way to becoming a pilot, learning to fly light aircraft!
Music and travel are her top passions and currently she has visited 32 countries around the world. Whilst in 26 of those countries she saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform live and has been to very many gigs and festivals all around the globe.
When she isn’t globetrotting she can be found at home with her husband Connor, two sausage dogs Frank and Phoebe and cats Rupert and Mildred.
