Levi has been clinically diagnosed with ADHD. Levi would like to raise awareness on what it really means to live with ADHD.
Levi is a proud New Zealander and Māori (native New Zealander), she has a Māori tattoo on the back of her neck called a tā moko. A tā moko reflects an individual's whakapapa (ancestry) and personal history. She is currently trying to learn Te Reo Māori (Māori language) with her friends back home, to feel more connected to her ancestry.
Levi has two big scars from two different operations. She was born with Craniosynostosis (fused skull). Craniosynostosis is a birth defect in which the bones in a baby's skull join too early. This required surgery at an early age where the doctors made a cut across her head (left ear to right ear), to remove and reshape the affected parts of my skull then stitching it back together. She now has a large scar the runs across her head and an odd, shaped forehead. Another surgical scar on her lower abdomen was from the removal of an 11cm ovarian cyst which the doctor found in 2018.
Levi is an energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing person. She is always ready to go try new things!
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design. Levi is now doing freelance design work, while she works on starting her own business.
At university Levi designed a range of products but most projects were centred around of helping those with disabilities. In 2021 Levi gave a workplace bullying speech for Culture Safe New Zealand, where she discussed what employees should look out for in a toxic working environment.
Levi currently plays netball and is wanting to get back into gym and volleyball (indoor and beach). She used to play basketball, compete in cross country and athletics. She likes to express herself through piano and guitar. Levi enjoys going for walks where I will journal and meditate, to clear her mind.
Levi is based in London but would love to travel anywhere!
