Enas is multidisciplinary creative, as a teenager she began writing and preforming poetry which contributed to building her confidence, and raising her self-esteem. Now her work lives on BBC Radio and is included in the British library archives.
Enas recently wrote and directed a short film called Black. British. Muslim. Other. available to watch on BBC iPlayer. The film gathered exceptional reviews following its release, and was the winner of the Zebra Best International Poetry Film Award in November 2022.
With the support of her family and friends Enas fundraised for a bionic arm from OpenBionics. This attracted media attention and her story was published in The Daily Mirror.
Enas was bullied for her disability but now she sees it as a superpower, and hopes to encourage others to see their differences as uniquely beautiful.
