Florie lives and works in Paris as singer-songwriter and music teacher. She was born with a limb difference on her left hand. She is French and her father is from the French West Indies. She used to work for several years as a project
manager, mainly for political and marketing research. But in 2019 Florie decided to quit her job to live her passion and focus on music. She now works on her own music projects in order to play her songs on stage. She also plays the piano, ukulele and practices modern jazz dance. She also takes music production and acting lessons. One of her goals is to give more visibility to people like her, who are also "different". Whether on stage or when she teaches, she tries to be the woman whom she would have dreamed of seeing when she was a child.
