I was given a literary grant by the Arts Council to write my memoir as a British South Asian woman living with the trauma and shame of this disease which is heavily stigmatised my community.

I have had two multi-cultural poetry books published and am a freelancer writer on a journalism course. I believe I have a very important story to tell not just about cancer but experiencing it from a brown girl/Asian woman perspective.

I am a make up artist, singer, spoken word artist, nail technician and I used to teach Infant School children.

I am a creative writing and poetry writing facilitator and I hope to do my Level 3 Make Up Artistry course in the near future,
