Ashley is a 27 year old nurse from a little village in County Limerick, Ireland. Ashley was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 20. Due to many failed drugs, Ashley had two surgeries within 5 months to remove her large intestine and now lives with a permanent ileostomy bag. While it has been her toughest journey yet, she sees her stoma bag as such a gift - she now has an amazing quality of life and will be forever grateful to it. Ashley is a bubbly, outgoing, positive person who always looks on the bright side of life!
