BIOGRAPHY
I was diagnosed at birth with Osteogenesis Imperfecta otherwise known as Brittle Bone.
This essentially means that my bones are more delicate than the average person and can break if I were to trip, fall or slip. I use a wheelchair for long distant walking but try to remain independent for the most part.
My condition means that I am small in stature and that I need to take extra care when walking. I avoid stairs as much as possible unless I am with someone that can provide help if incase I have a fall.
My latest credit was Athena, in Scenes From A Brummie Iliad (2019), adapted from Homer’s Iliad by Roderick Smith. This was performed at Birmingham Repertory Theatre (The Rep).Currently, I am a BAFTA and George Viner Journalism scholar as I am in training for an MA in Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University.
I have experience working in BBC newsrooms and I have worked with SKY news for the general elections in December 2019.
Prior to my studies I spent a lot of time in entertainment and music journalism interviewing musicians and reviewing albums.

Roxanne is a Grade 6 LAMDA (Bronze medal) trained actor and Monologue Slam UK finalist (2018).
She trained at Kingdom Drama School and YETGA theatre school which has allowed her to develop a wide set of skills ranging from physical theatre to screen acting.
Her TV and film debut was her role as Rose in Donald Glover’s, Season 3 of Atlanta (2022). Roxanne’s other roles include Athena, in Scenes from a Brummie Iliad (2019) performed at Birmingham Repertory Theatre (The Rep).
