Ej Hattersley hails from South Yorkshire, and has been studying photography, modelling and all things visual for over 4 years.
After overcoming a difficult experience during education, they did not let this stop them from chasing their passions, and she found comfort in describing herself as neurodivergent, and genderfluid. Neurodiversity has a variety of pro’s and con’s that can impact daily life, including hyperflexibility which is a skill Ej can manipulate when on set to create interesting shapes with their body.
Despite it all, they bring a charismatic energy to a shoot and engage thoroughly with concepts, briefs and whoever they may meet wherever they may be.
At home in Manchester, EJ lives with their partner and two house bunnies. Animal care, rights and activism is a key interest of hers, as she volunteers with rescue centres and has always used her skills in visual language, to aid causes such as climate change and animal cruelty. This interest reflects their sensitive nature and directly correlates to being on the autistic spectrum, alongside their sensitivity which they have worked immensely on in order to claim the life they so rightly deserve.
